WHY?

The main purpose of Doge-1 is to broadcast advertisements, logos and images on the screen of the Doge-1 satellite, which will be orbiting the Moon.

Screen images will be captured by installed cameras and broadcast to Earth, from where they will be streamed to Twitch and Youtube platforms.

INITIAL ACTIVATION

DOGE-1's onboard systems activate, likely using a timer or signal post-separation. Solar panels deploy to charge its battery, and the CubeSat's attitude control system (reaction wheels or magnetorquers) stabilizes its orientation.

COMMUNICATION

The satellite's radio begins transmitting to ground stations, confirming its status. DOGE-1 uses an electric propulsion system to adjust its trajectory and settle into a stable elliptical lunar orbit over days or weeks, conserving propellant for a planned two-year mission.

DATA COLLECTION

Once in lunar orbit, DOGE-1's sensors and cameras capture lunar surface images and geological data. Its onboard screen displays ads or logos, broadcasting them back to Earth via its communication system, testing blockchain tech in deep space.
